    Fox body with a twist...

Last summer my old Crown Vic's engine crapped out on me and rather than rebuild or swap it, I cut my losses and scrapped it.

Shortly after I found this gem....

Its a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Sport

Underneath its basically a Mustang GT with a low output 5.0

I picked it up for next to nothing because it didn't run... But it didn't stay that way for long.

After fixing a fuel delivery issue, I rebuilt the brakes

Pulled all that pesky smog equipment

And I re-ran all the vacuum lines to make it run nice and smooth

The 7.5" posi rear didn't take well to my punishment...

So that got fixed, and I'm currently shopping around for a nice 8.8" unit from a Mustang or a Mark VII to swap in

I also got my hands on some sweet Eibach Sportline springs for a mustang so they went on...

I got one at the shop just sitting on the floor it has a bent drivers axle but the rest is all good. Came out of a 96 gt. 150 and you can have it.

Thanks man but I'd really rather go with a Mark 7 rear if I can find it. The Mustang rear is to narrow.
