Looking at cars and this one caught my eye. But $25k with a bent valve??
Seems kind of rediculous to me.

it has a built engine and chassis has low miles. its not that crazy. KB 2.8 also

i dont think its bad considering the work done to it. it would cost you way more to build that from a stock one than just pay to replace the bent valve. that engine bay is sick tho

Listen to a pro when it comes to buying cars that need to be rebuilt. Don't do it! It's overpriced also.

Figure out the cost to fix the head. I'm almost positive the motor has to come out to get the head off. The biggest problem is that you're not positive it's a bent valve. It could be a busted ring land or something.

IMO, if you want a terminator with that kind of extensive mods, buy a stock or close to stock car for 15-18k. Then put a built motor and big blower for about 12-15k and be done with it.

do you think you can find a termi that cheap? most of the ones in good condition that ive seen randomly browsing are above 20k. maybe im not looking hard enough tho lol

When I was looking about a year ago I found probably half a dozen in that price range. Everything from stock cars with 50-60k miles, to even a 2.2 KB car with 80k miles for 17.5.

I'm not saying you're going to find a #1 car for that kind of price. But they're out there.

My friend just picked up an '03 Cobra, 60k miles, lightly modded for 16k. The deals are out there, just have to search.

overpriced... if the owner wanted to fix it for a couple hundred bucks, then yes it may be worth that.... the reason why it's not being fixed is exactly why you should stay away from it
