This is the best product I have used to clean chrome rims. It takes the brake dust off very easy. You just rub the rim down with Brasso using a sponge and then wipe it off clean with a microfiber towel. This will get hard to get brake dust off. The first time I used it I never cleaned my wheels on the inside. I had no problem getting it to a polish chrome finish. Each wheel takes about 20min for me. They are 20" rims

I wouldn't use it on any paint. It's a metal polish. The bottle list what to use it on.

Thanks for the tip... I've been wondering what I can use to clean the carbon off my exhaust tips since I removed the add-on tips that the former owner of my car had installed on there. Looks like Brasso will do the trick.
